The Year We've All Been Waiting For...
Is it the "end of the world", the "beginning of a new world", a bunch of hype, just an ordinary year,
or is something Extraordinary about to happen?
Perhaps it will be a bit of all of the above. Without question, 2011 was quite a remarkable year, and we believe 2012 will be no less memorable. In last year's New Year's Kabbalistic Numerology Forecast we said, "2011 is sure to be a year that will leave
its mark on humanity." And boy, oh boy, it sure was; it was a year that will definitely go down in the history books! From Revolutions, to Occupy Movements, to Cataclysms, to the people standing up and taking inspired action, and so much more. From day 1 to day 365, 2011 was an action-packed year! What's in store for 2012? In a way, that depends on each of us...the choices we make and the actions we take. To be sure, it will be a year of transformation. If you take an attitude of embracing change and accepting a new paradigm in your life and this world, then you'll likely surf the energies of 2012 with exhilaration. If, on the other hand, you cling to the comfort zones, the status quo, and the old paradigm, then this year will be a rough one. We say this with confidence, because the Numerology of 2012 reduces to a 5, the number of transformation and change. 5 is an alchemical number that catalyzes our evolution towards mastery over the elements within us, until we become the perfect blend of them and transform into the 5th element, the quintessence, the philosopher's stone, the Adam Kadmon or god-like human. Are you ready to own your power and potential? Kabbalistically, 5 is also the number of what is known as Geburah on the Tree of Life, which is the essence of Power itself. When abused, this power leads to strife, conflict, war. When harnessed and balanced, this power leads to a sense of personal empowerment, justice, and the courage the change and cut away what no longer serves. The number 5 asks us to master the powers within us and therefore become truly empowered in this world.
Furthermore, 2012 is a 12th year of the new millennium. The number 12 is considered a master number that is a higher octave of the number 3. It represents the completion of a grand cycle (12 months to a year, 12 signs of the zodiac, 12 systems of the body, 12 apostles of Christ, 12 tribes of Israel, etc), so in a way, it does indicate that an ending of some sort is taking place. But with every ending comes a new beginning. The predictions of what will end this year are the old failing systems of human design and ways of being that are no longer serving us. In their place a whole new pattern based on the New Paradigm energy will take root. We believe this will be a year where we officially give birth to the Age of Conscious Evolution by finally letting go of the old and embracing the New Paradigm. This Shift will require that we make a Quantum Leap from the ledge we are now standing on as a human society...fortunately, the energy of this year is here to help give us a boost in making that leap...it's even a "Leap Year", with 366 days. In the Universal Kabbalah, the number 12 is also associated with the major arcana tarot card of the Hanged Man. The Hanged Man involves purification, vision questing, suspended animation, and matters of personal sacrifice - the voluntary giving up of something in order to get something of greater value. The word 'sacrifice' literally means 'making holy', it is willingly exercising personal restraint in order to serve a higher purpose and transcend egoic ways. When this is done with love, wisdom, and devotion, what is gained is often a brilliant innovation or new way of viewing a situation. It has been referred to as the “Aha” card, because it allows you to view a stagnant situation with a new perspective and may provide a sudden sense of illumination (like the proverbial lightbulb suddenly turning on). Key Words associated with this energy include: New Perspective, Surrender, Faith, Self-Sacrifice, Duty, Initiation, Reversal of a Situation, Breaking Old Patterns, Enlightenment that brings a Complete Change of Ways, a Transposed Point of View. Our power and grace through this year will come when we quiet your minds and surrender to higher powers as we let go of limiting patterns in order to gain a new perspective in life. When we, as The Hanged Man, are willing to sacrifice egoic needs in order to surrender to the inherent love and wisdom within us that wants to be expressed in the world in unlimited and undistorted ways, then we will break free. By releasing our sorrows and wounded parts of the past that we still hold in our minds, we are able to express our feelings abundantly from a place of knowing our priorities and commitments. Love with wisdom comes from a place of integrity, which is the alignment of mind, heart, and action in all that we do.
